A privately-owned company founded in 1992, Beckard Associates has an impressive track record helping international wholesale distributors manage their complex distribution businesses.

Founders Dave Savard and David Beckley are expert distribution consultants, with over two decades experience developing software systems specifically for the distribution industry. Their service philosophy and passion for client success has built Beckard’s reputation as a business partner that can be trusted to deliver results.

Our mission is to improve the success of our client’s business operations by simplifying their wholesale distribution procedures and reducing costs through automation.

Dave Savard – President

Beckard president Dave Savard brings extensive management, business planning, and operational expertise to the company, gained through two decades of public and private sector management experience. Dave’s ability to diagnose client operational problems and provide effective, practical solutions has earned him the enduring loyalty of clients. He is also known for a deep commitment to customer service, ensuring that client needs are not only met but that client priorities are considered in future product enhancements.

In his role as company president, Dave holds responsibility for operations, planning and customer service. Dave has a degree in Economics and Law from Carleton University.

David Beckley – General Manager

Beckard General Manager and Chief Technology Officer, David Beckley (1962-2012). Our expert in the distribution industry software. Beginning his career as in-house programmer, David worked for several distribution companies prior to joining Jonas and Erickson Software in 1987. While with Jonas and Erickson, David applied his extensive industry knowledge to the development of proprietary inventory distribution system products – a suite of software that was purchased in 1991 and used as the foundation of the Masterworks suite. David was responsible for the continuous enhancement of the Masterworks suite, working with clients to develop new applications to support their business systems. David passed away in 2012, but his legacy lives on in the system he created and continues to be used by his clients today.
